In the 1700’s are so, we can read about a religious fanatical group, which lay claimed, to a large following of believers. This group’s claimed, was by it’s practices, resulting in then said miracles.

For a more thorough account of this group many excellent articles can be read on the Internet.

In short, thousands flocked in France to the tomb, in 1727, of one named Jansen, who had given all to the poor, and finally died a pauper. His life, and his narrow theology, should be one lifted to saint hood, at least, said his followers.

The uniqueness, of this individual, was,- and I might add, that after reading from different sources,- there is one thing that all agree on. And, that is, what happened to his followers, by the thousands, upon them visiting his grave-site in France.

Was this, that upon gathering there they would display grimaces, and convulsions, and in,- as this author writes, T.H. Horne in 1830, in his refutation of the miracles, said to have occurred there, from the writings of “Campell On Miracles,” pp.170-181-. and the Encyclopedia Britannica.

that those, that were caught up, in these grimaces, and convulsions, were of such a disorderly and ridicules manner, that finally

Frances’s government put a halt to it. There, actually, were no healings, nor miracles, but many had these, grimaces and convulsions. They, the Jansenist, thought, that in fact, God’s healing power was there, and was touching their lives.  Needless to say, that, in fact, it was the opposite. This group, and it’s narrowed theology, and pretended actions, are no longer in existence. That these action’s mentioned, are the truth, in fact, to the testimony, of a falsehood. Which- the religious falsehoods- have in common, that they soon fall by the wayside, in the true believers, Christian life’s journey.

The true things of God will always be, they endure, they which are of God continue therein. There is no false, are miss leadings, in God. The things that our God is involved in, endure, they bring the results, He desires, and that is to, “Glorified His Son, Jesus,” and to bring to mankind, the knowledge and purpose of, “Calvary’s Tree!  This is! the only way of “Salvation for mankind.” In being reconciled with our God.

In 2009, as in the recent past, there are yet those, who have traveled hundreds, even thousands of miles, for a pretended movement of God. Yet, all one needs to do, is stop, and on a bended knee, with a contrite, humbled heart, asking, to be used, by our Loving Savor!

“Asked! and you shall receive! knock! and it shall open!”

Blessings
